So it's Christmas time

I'm not really feeling it. Sure I got the week off. It's also a week with no pay. I don't know, I just don't feel it. It's just my mom and me at my Brother's house.

ok so after a few Vodka and Fruit punches later. I think it's time that I just post this before I forget.

I spent tonight watching VH1s top 100 songs of the 90s. fun times.

I'm in Vegas and chillin in my PJs

Yup. I am in Las Vegas on a Saturday night and I am just chillin at my brother's place in my PJs. Before coming here I had planned on going out to the same strip club. Having my tire slashed Thursday night didn't help anything. That cost $100 for the new tire.

I also ended buying me a Christmas gift to me from me. I ended up getting me a new paintball gun. I got a Tippmann A-5. That wasn't cheap. I wanted it, so I got it. It's a good gun and will last a long time. So I think it was money well spent.

1,100 miles later

So I'm back at my casa. Ended up driving home last night. I wanted to take my car into the shop this morning. I didn't end up leaving Las Vegas 'till 7:30 last night. It is a 7 hour drive home, so I didn't get home 'till 2:30am. It was a nice drive though, not many cars on the road at that hour of night. I had some rain on the way back, even a little snow going over the pass. None of the snow was really sticking to the ground or anything. Just the snow you can see when you turn the high beams on.

All in all it was a good trip. There were times that I started getting tried of being around all that family. As much as the kids rock (3 and 1 year olds), there is a reason I don't have kids yet. The two different lifestyles don't seem to go together that well.

Well at least now I got the weekend to be me!

Oh yeah, by the time I got home it was right about 1100 miles. Most of that was just me. I really need to get a mp3 player for my car.

Applications and more

I don't think I ever had to hunt down and fill out so many different things. I'm starting to go nutso. I'm even eating dry trix out of a cup....mmm good stuff.

I filled out the fafsa junk two times now. I'm working on the cal grant. Ok, so that's about it right now. It's just no fun.

King of the hill is good. Has a little twist to the plot.

So I've been doing a bad thing. I've been thinking of buying a new car. I've been thinking of a low end BMW or a top of the line Subaru STI. I think I'm going to go with the Subaru.

The weather here in Vegas is kinda yucky. Windy. Chilly.

I really want to eat at the Rain Forest Cafe. It has been awhile since the last time I ate there. The food is sooooo good there. So, we'll see how that works out.

I made it!

570 miles later, I make it to my brothers house. That was one long ass drive! Yup, don't want to do that anytime soon.

I can't wait 'till I start my schooling. I can't wait till I blog about my first dive. Oh good stuff.

ok, guess I should get some sleep.

Peace out blogger world!

Las Vegas no more

I had fun there. It was my first time getting to see my niece. It was a good time all around. The drive back, now that was a different story. For the first six hours of driving out avg. speed was 30 mph! Yup....30 mph, if that. There were a few times we just turned the car off. It was just cars and trucks as far as the eye can see. It sucked. It took me just over 6-7 hours to get down there in the first place. By the time I got home it was almost 12 hours later.

We left Vegas about 10am. Two hours later we still didn't go 60 miles, and that just about the fastest we went for awhile. It sucked. We were going to stop and get some lunch in Baker, but we had the dog (little black one) with us. So that didn't work out too well. We ended up stopping for DINNER at taco bell. We were still about 200 miles from home by this time. So about 10 and a half hours after leaving Vegas we get to my Grandma's house. Unpack her car and move some of the stuff in to my Dad's truck, sit down for a few min then take off. It is still another hour drive to our casa from my Grandmama's house.

So I get home....and well I know what you're waiting for...

The game of life

and I lost.

Well I was the first one done, but I went through it so fast that I didn't get to get and on the real money. Well, other than having a good paying job and a house (cave) that was low rent. Ok, so it might have been Sponge bob square pants life. We also played Clue and Sorry, just not in that order. I think I liked playing the game Sorry the most. It was good stuff.

I didn't take many pictures today, didn't really do much to day. My Grandmama and daddy went down to the big ol' screen on Fremont street, but they didn't stop. Right now they are kinda packing up and I am just typing away in the kitchen. Well it's not like I got that much to pack anyways. I only came up here with one bag, that I packed the night before leaving ;)

Vegas -- Day 3

Yeah, so I skipped day 2. I know. Y'all will live.

I'm not really used to blogging in the kitchen, with the smell of fried chicken in the air. My Grandmama is cookin right now. Then to my right I got college football going. In another hour or so the Boise State game is on. Right now it is S. Fla and WVU, but I'm not really watching that game.

My brother kids are a trip. Noah is three years old and Beth is just over 1 year. The two words that Noah knows best is "no" and "uncle".

Well back to yesterday.
That was the first day that I went swimming all year long. Heck, I can't remember the last time I went swimming. It is a heated pool and right now the water temp is 102 and the outside air temp is only 51. That's insane, you could almost make a stew in that pool. Mmmmm stew.

Well, that's it for now. Maybe I'll add some more tonight. Maybe I will not.

Las Vegas -- Day 1

Well it was one hell of a drive down. I left around 7am, after burning about 5 music CDs for the road. I didn't get to the big city 'till 2:30 or 3:00. I did end up missing an exit and ended up going a few miles out of the way. Yeah I am taking a lot of pictures, y'all just will not be able to see them 'till I get home late Sunday....well Monday. I ended up driving about 450 miles just getting here. That isn't counting the d riving around we've done around town.

zOMG is this house nice. I could live just fine in the master bedroom. You'll see what I'm talking about when you see the pictures.

Well I guess I should get going to sleep now. Nothing like coming all the way to Vegas and typing up a blog on my brother's laptop. Heck I'm typing pretty good for never really typing on a laptop keyboard before.

G'night bloggie world. I'm off to sleep in my lil red race car bed....pictures to come at a later date.
