Well seeing as I just have 19 more weeks of school It is about that time to send out some letters of interest. If y'all would take a minute and just read it over. That would be awesome! Oh yeah, let me know of any changes you'd make too.

Dear Jerred Hebert,
Subject: Candidate for Diver / Tender Position
I am writing in regards to the Diver / Tender position that is listed on Global Industries web site. A few months ago there was a recruiter that came by the National Polytechnic College of Science campus. I really enjoyed what was presented to me in that meeting. Global Industries looks like a company that I could invest some time in and make a career out of.
I spent 4 years in the U.S. Air Force working under a Civil Engineering command. I have a strong understanding of how to get any task at hand done the right and safe way. I know how to work with and operate a wide range of machinery, everything from a 4,000 Lbs . forklift to a 12 inch diameter aluminum pipe mill.
I am currently still in school in Wilmington, CA. My graduation date is in May 2008. At that time I will be moving out to Louisiana.
As your employee, I will welcome hard work and be willing to learn new skills. I pride myself on my dependability and ability to work well in a fast paced team environment. I would appreciate an opportunity to work with Global Industries. Please call me at (559) 867-5309 if you have any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
Joshua B
Thank you =)

Good letter. Potential substitute for last sentence first paragraph: I am career minded and Global Industries would be an ideal match for my skills and interests. Good luck!
I'm with Lonesterdog, the last sentence needs cleaning up but other than that it's great.
Lonester's sentence is good...I will restrain myself b/c I am an editor by nature and training, and like to re-write things...But this needs to be in your words, not mine, lol.
Good letter and good luck!
