Story of my life...

So I wake up at 5am, give or take. Just like I do just about every other day for work. Leave the house around 5:15am, gives me more than enough time to get to work on time. about 10 min early in fact.

So I'm about a mile, maybe a lil more, when I get to a stop light and think about getting that coat out I have behind the seat. I wanted another coat since my heater doesn't work in the car yet. Since I didn't think doing that at a stop light was the best idea, I'd have to put the car in park and the light was about to turn green. I went up to the parking lot down the street.

So I pull into this parking lot, and just plan on pulling off to the side and parking for a sec. Well as I drive in, I didn't see a fucking tank stopping curb there. So I nailded it with my right front tire and got stuck.

What a great way to start the day off.

So I ended up being about 2 and a half hours late for work.

At least after that lil mess up, my day was fine. It seems like I work better on days like today. I just keep working to keep my mind off of life, or something like it.

1967 El Camino

Well I got it. it's a 1967 Chevy el camino. you guys might be thinking " El camino..."WFTOMGZORBBQKITE!!!!!!CAPSLOCK!!!!!11111ELEVEN" or something close to that anyways.

I don't know how many of y'all are car guys or gals out there, so I'll just tell ya what it is. Than add some pics to the end.


Here is what it has:
396cid w/ 375hp (haven't checked the code yet, but that's what it's badged as)
TH400 tranny
10 bolt rear
reupholstered interior, black (just missing the top of the dash and some little things)
Tags are up to date
It's been re painted not too long ago
Chrome needs to be redone
Minor rust
No AC
H.E.I. ignition
shows 51,000 miles, but who knows.
4 wheel drum brakes
I think it has solid lifters, I didn't hear any kind of clicking that empty hydraulic lifters make.

I bought a jack ball and got the El Camino for free

Great new year this has been so far

It hasn't even been 2006 for 24 hours here. and I just want to dig a deep hole, jump in, and fill 'er back up. Hell, I think I felt better a year ago than I do right now. For those of you who know what I was up to a year ago, that's saying a lot.

Everytime it seems like life starts to go better, you can tell 'cause I havn't been bloging as much, something always ends up going worng. Damnit, I had a good christmas...it was even better than I thought it would be. I had a good new years, well up to a few years ago. I know it rains on everyone now and then. It just seems like I'm getting more than my fair share of it right now. There has to be something good that comes out of this right? It's easy to say "yes" but I'm not going to hold my breath for anything good to happen.

The one good thing

That's all I need. Just one thing to go right for me, just because it was ment to be that way. At least that's what I was thinking on my long ass drive to work yesterday.

Yesterday ended up being one of the worst days of work I've ever had. I even damaged a van door with a forklift. How do you top that? I also had the wrong color carpet going out to a job, that's what started my day off. At least that was found out before they loaded it. Though it's still all my fault. Maybe that's what did me in for yesterday.

last day of skool

Tonight was my last night of school, woohoo! I think I did good in the class. Should get a high B, maybe even an A if I'm lucky. Now I just got to set up my class for next sem. Gee Golly, can't wait.

In case you wanted to know, I just got done with my Adv. welding class. Now I'm going to take a CAD class.

The Fog

It's that time of year again. The fog has startred to come in. It makes driving to work oh so much fun. Even more fun when you can only see 15-20 feet in front of you.

I'm thinking of calling in sick tomorrow. This cold air is just not making me feel any better. Coughing up my lungs all the time. though, I did buy me some cough drops today, those seem to help. Well, at least I am starting to feel better, a lot better than I did this past weekend. Woohoo there's one for the home team!

I got the flu

Yeah I got sick around friday afternoon, and have been sick all weekend. Atleast now I can talk again. So that was my bummer of a weekend. humm....I did have some chicken noodle soup last night, that was good.

I can't think of anything else, damn I gotta turn this light off....brb...ah better.
