There you go. I love that quote. Am I a racist? Maybe a little. I'm not going to pretend and be one of those people that say "I'm not a raciest, but ...." Everyone has views and that's fine...acting on hate that's a different story.
Me? I'm white. I'm Californian. I'm American.
I don't call myself Armenian-American or even European-American.
When people ask where I'm from, after hearing my last name, I just say California.
Ok since everyone wants the same rights. I'm cool with that. Then everyone should have to work the same. Everyone should have to get the same scores on a test. Everyone should have to do the same number of push-ups, pull-ups, and sit-ups in the military. Everyone should have to run at the same times. If a job needed me to lift 80 lbs then everyone should have to. Guess what, to be a tender men and women have to lift the same weight the same amount of time.
So if I'm American and you're African American or Mexican American does that make you equal? NO. If you want equal just say you're American. Maybe Black-American or Brown-American. If you are from America and your parents-parents are also from America, guess what you're American. If you want to be Mexican or African then go back. Simple.
Uggg some people are just stupid!
ok ok. I'll just end it here before I go too (or should it be to) far off the deep end.
Today I worked 18 hours. Here is how it went.
7:20 -- Out of bed
8:00 -- Working at the shop
12:15 -- Went to lunch (taco bell)
1:00 -- Clocked back in
3:00 -- Got the call and clocked out
4:00 -- Came back to the shop with all my gear
4:15ish -- Left for the dock
6:00ish -- Got to the dock
12:00am (ala midnight) -- Shift over.
I think I got a few hours travel pay too. I <3 my overtime!
I think it's time for sleep now.
Well I am off shore again. (For those of you that don't read titles). This boat is about 50 feet longer a few more people and works 24 hours a day. I'll be working the night shift that is noon to midnight. Being that this boat has two crews on it I'm not going to get as much overtime on this boat. I'll only be getting 84 hours a week.
This boat also has 4 anchors. What that means that it can keep itself in place with out having to be tied up to a platform or something. The room I'm in is HUGE I got 3 other people (well 2 work the day shift) 4 wall lockers, 2 sets of bunks and all this in a nice big 7 x 12 room well give or take a lil.
oh oh I guess I should also blog about the phone call I got to get this job. So it turns out that people like to call me while I'm helping a diver get out of the water, it happened twice today AND I only helped two people get out of the water! Geez people!
Ok back to the story. So this person calls two times (today number is 2 ha! ha!) didn't leave a message, but the area code was from the area I work. So I called it back. It was a good thing that did. He needed a person a.s.a.p. he even asked if I had my gear in my car with me ready to go. I told him that it was at my apartment and that was just a few miles away. He told me to go get it and come back right away.
I know I forgot a few things: watch, sandals, some other things. My goal when I get back is to buy all the extra stuff I need that way I can just keep my bag packed. I did keep most of the stuff together, just dumped out on my floor :P
I hope that this job will last me 4 weeks. I just love them pay checks.
Any of you 4 people that read this have any questions about what I do?
Not so sure why this is. I'm tired, I feel tired. I just don't want to sleep. I'm also hungry. I'm sure that doesn't help.
Hum. I guess the only having soda to drink does not help. Do I have much on my mind? Not really. Heck I haven't even been blogging much any more. I'm not so sure why that has dropped off.

Hum 5:10am I did get about 4 hours of sleep. I really miss sleeping in.
The other day I didn't go to sleep 'til 4ish am and got the nice sound of people hammering on the roof right out side my apartment at 7am. That sucked. I think that is what messed me up. I also get the sun coming in my lil ol' window. Stupid sun.

Maybe I should do some random Internet about my life quizzes.
Oh better Idea! Shave. Shower. Coffee. Start my morning off right!

oh yeah. I didn't go to work today. I didn't really feel like wasting my time today. I guess I'll start going agian on monday if I don't get called out over the weekend.
Well I got me a nice little laptop on Monday. ASUS G50v. it does everything I want and then some.
My last day off was June 27th, however, I have been back at my apartment twice since then. I was getting paid even on my days off for 12 hours so that doesn't count :P
umm. I know I had some other stuff to blog about but for the life of me I can't remember.
I guess I should get reading and then sleep time.
