I'm back at my apartment. I ended up driving 1000 miles the first day and 750ish the second day.
That is 1750ish miles with only a 3 hour nap. I did stop for food, gas, drinks, food, gas, gas, food...
Well from California to Louisiana and all the driving between the two I ended up stopping for gas a total of 10 times. The amount I spend on gas (just from ca to la) is $209.03. My trip total must be close to $500 on gas.
My total milage is about 5800! Damn!
1750ish from here (Louisiana) to Las Vegas, NV (twice)
and all the driving from Las Vegas to California and all the driving around I did there.
I did end up getting pulled over one time. For doing 75 in a 70....ohh watch out. I just cute eyes and played with my hair some. He let me go with just a written warning.
I'm Fucking Crazy!

All it took for 4 days
In the time span of 4 days I drove 1700 miles, slept in my car twice, 2 interviews, 5 applications, found a job, found an apartment.
but seeing as I'm typing this here in a best Western I'm going to leave it short.
Oh and there will be a lot of pictures when I get an internet connection to my apartment.

1450 Miles later
I did soooo much driving this past week. Well if you think about it I really only did the most of the driving on three days.
I left Long Beach, CA and headed off for Las Vegas, NV early Saturday morning. I left the apartment a little after 5am and got to Vegas with out much trouble. The only person there in Vegas is my mom. My brother, his family, my dad, and youngest brother were over at my Grandmama's. Well, by brother and his family were spending Christmas Eve with his In-laws.
Well, on the day after Christmas I left Vegas and headed up to my Grandmama's (central California) only the main highway that goes through the mountains and into the Central Valley was closed because of "extreme winds." Well that's a huge bitch! The only other ways that I knew about added at least 200 miles to the trip. The good thing is that I had my lil GPS dealy with me. I left Vegas about 11am, I wanted to leave earlier it just didn't work out. I ended up having to trun around 3 times because of road closers. Two times because of the extreme winds and the last because of the Red and blue lights on top of the CHP car. That last one made me back track about 20 miles. This is 20 miles in mountain roads, that I was soon to find out had some black ice on them. That wasted about 40 minutes of driving.
Good news is that I did make it to my Grandmama's house. It took me 10 hours of driving. The Day before this (on Christmas day) my brother, and everyone else, made the drive from my Grandmama's to Las Vegas in 5 and a half hours.
Yesterday I left My Grandmama's to come back to Long Beach. I left her house a little after 10am. Now this time I planned on taking the long way as I am tired of always going over the grapevine. So I ended up taking Highway 58 west (I know most if not all of y'all don't know it). Highway 58 East would take me back to Vegas, it was the highway that was closed while driving back from Vegas. Well I made a map so you could just look at what I did. The route in red is the route that I took. As you can see, it's the long way. The whole trip was over 400 miles. If I would have taken the short route it is about 250 miles. The part there in light blue is what I was going to plan on taking, but it was dark and I was tired of driving so I just stuck to the main freeways.
And now some pictures, well all that I took, of my drive back. Most of them are views from Highway 58. The pictures from along the coast were taken while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway. Yes, by the time I made it back to my apartment I had drivin just about 1450 miles.

San Diego Zoo
I really want to go there one of these weekend. The last time I went to that zoo I was 8, give or take, years old. I hated it. It was how and I was just a kid. Blah wasn't fun at all. So who all is up for a road trip to the zoo?
Maybe some time next year I'll go.

Magic Mountain

Yesterday I get to spend the day at none other than six flags Magic Mountain! Holy crap is was sooooo much fun. The pic above was taken from the Tatsu (duh ;) ) Here are some facts about that ride:
- Speed – 62 mph
- Height – 170 feet
- Elevation change – 263 feet
- Track Length – 3,602
- First drop – 111 feet
- Inversions – four
- Record-breaking 124-foot pretzel loop
- 103-foot flat spin
- 96-foot-tall Zero G roll
- 360-degree inline roll over Revolution
- Wraps the legendary Sky Tower
- Flight Time: 3.5 minutes
That has to be one of the freakiest rides I've gone on. So freaky we had to go on it again before we left the park. I also ended up getting so wet the the money in my wallet was wet! Twice! The ride is called Roaring Rapids. I can't believe how wet I got. Soaked all the way down to my boxers! It was just crazy. I can't wait to do it again! I just can't believe it cost $15 just to park my damn car! Just crazy.
We got to the part just before 11, it didn't even open 'til 10:30. By the time I picked up my friend and left it was 8:15. So it's a good little drive to get down there, but it is due south on the freeway. So it is very easy to get there. When I got back home I have put on a little over 500 miles! We didn't leave 'til 5:45 just before the park closes at 6.
Some of the rides lasted longer than the wait in line was! That was so cool. X was the longest wait, about 30 min. But, it is a cool ride!
oh yeah, my feet were still wet when I got home and took off my shoes! That is how wet I was!
