Day 14

Well two weeks have gone by and we still haven't done any diving.

We should start laying pipe soon. Oh but the tug boat is brokened. Might have to go in and have a new tug come out. It'll take 7-8 hours for one to come out here. Heck the crew boat that was coming out here last night turned around and went back in. So who knows. And on top of that the x-ray machine thingy is brokened too! We can't put pipe in the water that hasn't been inspected.

so yeah. That's what I've been up to.

Day 9: Still no diving

It is going on two weeks now and they still havn't started laying any pipe. Not one dive so far. There has been some talk about puting us tenders on to an on-call status or maybe just working four 6s. I wouldn't mind working 6 hours a day and getting paid for 12. Other than that not must going on here. I'm on shift right now. Soon I'm going to go down and eat some lunch at 5am. I wonder what they are having. I wonder why my yahoo isn't connection. I'm also not a big fan of the dipshit I get to work with.

Well just about 5 o'clock I guess I should head on down now.

Yup that's right boys and girls. I ended up going to work. I'm on another pipe lay barge. It's boring. Been out here a week and they haven't got one dive in. It might be another week before we do any kind of diving. ohh less than 40% of my battery left. I think I might be out here 8 weeks. We'll see how the job goes. The closer to winter I don't know how many other jobs will be going so it might just be smart to stay here and at least get the paycheck.

Eh, well at least I found the internet. Turns out it can't hide here either :P

Bleh

I hate when I can't sleep. I only got about 6 hours of sleep last night. I guess it takes me a night or two to get used to sleeping in my room again. I guess I just need to rant some. Geez I know I'm getting tired, I'm making some lamo typos that I keep having to go back and fix.

It also bums me out that I need to pay off my school loans and still buy about $10,000 worth of gear for work. Sure I make good money in this job, but it cost a lot too.

Ok I think I just gave up on sleep. At least for right now. I'll just stay up for the long haul then sleep good tonight. I'm even making some coffee. In a few hours I'll go to the store and check out some boots. I might buy some...maybe not. I want to buy a pair now so I can break them in. That way I can have two pairs of work boots ready.

So awake. So tired.

Not so sure why this is. I'm tired, I feel tired. I just don't want to sleep. I'm also hungry. I'm sure that doesn't help.

Hum. I guess the only having soda to drink does not help. Do I have much on my mind? Not really. Heck I haven't even been blogging much any more. I'm not so sure why that has dropped off.

Hum 5:10am I did get about 4 hours of sleep. I really miss sleeping in.

The other day I didn't go to sleep 'til 4ish am and got the nice sound of people hammering on the roof right out side my apartment at 7am. That sucked. I think that is what messed me up. I also get the sun coming in my lil ol' window. Stupid sun.

Blah. I don't know why I got some of the people on there. Eh, oh well. Maybe I'm just bored. It is 2:42am after all. Another day of not working. It makes for really long days when you are trapped on a boat. I spent all day in my family guy pants watching TV and reading. yes...me reading. I got a book before I came back out here. I can't remember the last time I went to the store to buy a book.

Well I don't really have anything on my mind to blog about. Got some lame lil things, but what fun is that?

Or I could just say that two months from tomorrow I'll be driving down to long beach. Ok, now that thought did keep a smile on my face for a good part of the day. I just hope that the boss man is on top of giving me my one year review. If he is, that means I should get it the day before I quit! wo0t!

Sooooo Tired

I get home from work. Take my shoes off. Then nothing. I got a friend I need to call about plans this weekendish. It is just no fun to talk on the phone while trying to keep my eyes open. No point in taking a nap, 'cause I willn't (hey, I can type that if I wanna :P ) be able to sleep tonight.

Heck, I get home around 5:40 if I don't stop any place. Never mind the fact that I had to leave my house at 5:20am. So, that leaves me with 4 or 5 hours to do everything that I want to and still get some zonin' out time in.

Heck, I'll be working 12 hours shifts as a diver. But, there I'll be living on a boat or so. No place to go. No place to spend my money.

The end of the Internet

Yup, and now I'm bored. I even reached the end of the Internet. As you can see by that link. So, now what do I do? I got a friend coming over to watch clerks 2 in about an hour. Then what? Oh yeah, watch the movie. Then what? where does it end? Well if you went to that link, you'd know that answer. This time the answer isn't 42. I'm sure y'all will know what that means. If not, then Google it. Just do it. I have been reading a few more blogs, so that's a plus. I should get a star for that. The kind they gave out to you while you were in school. Oh! I gotta sign up for class again. I think I'm going to be taking a CAD class. But the hours for that class suckzor. Would be nice if I was able to take the class during the day, but doesn't seem like that is going to work out very well.

If you've read some of the past blogs, you'll be reminded what happened when I tried to just cut my hours back 3 hour a week for my Pre Calc. class.

Oh yeah, I was able to watch some movies and get all my dirty clothes clean. I even got myself clean.

So many people and no one to talk to

I seem to find my self wanting to chic chat. There are people on different instant messaging programs, but no one I really want to talk (type) to. Then I got my cell phone. There are people to talk to listed there. People to text too. Then I could always get a reply like "what" when I just said "hey". Not really the...well I guess it kind of was what I thought I'd get from her. She's an odd little one for sure. I give up trying to understand her, so I'm just me. I think I have more fun with it 'cause I'm not trying to get into her pants. Hell, I don't even think I'll fit into them.

Hum. This is getting kind of boring. Coming home, playing some games on the computer. Damn, I am staring to want a nice lil RC truck, but that's not going to happen anytime soon. hum wonder why I get down like this every so often. Oh yeah, that's right I know why. 'Cause I think I stuff that I don't have but want. Eh, oh well. I'll get over it. And I'll start by using bad English and broken sentences. Yes! Yeah, I think I'm going to just jam this all together. Hell, as long as I know what I'm typing, that's all that matters to me. I wonder how long I can go on like this.

ok, so not very long. I wonder if I still have clothes in the dryer...brb. Well what do ya know, I did it all last night. I just want to have fun with my El Camino. Dang, I don't really have anything to bitch about. It's not like my life is bad or anything like that. Guess I should let the dog back in the 'rents house. I'm all for going to a bar or something, tossing a few back here and there. It's that whole driving back thing that sucks. It was nice in the Air Force. Had a thing called AADD, where you'd be able to get a ride home. Wouldn't it be nice if I lived just 2.64 (I think it's .64) miles from work. A tank of gas would last me a month. Well give or take. I do like how I can just go on and on in my blogs. blah blah blah. I'm off to see the wizard, the wonderful wizard of Oz.
